
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHEDRAL OF PASIG
The Immaculate Conception Cathedral, also known as Pasig Cathedral, is a historic Roman Catholic church located in Plaza Rizal, Malinao, Pasig. Established by Augustinian missionaries in 1573, it was originally dedicated to the Visitation of Our Lady and later to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in 1587. Administered by CICM Fathers from 1910 to 1979, it later came under Filipino clergy. In 2003, it was elevated to cathedral status with the creation of the Diocese of Pasig.

BISHOP OF PASIG

Bishop Mylo Hubert Claudio Vergara, born on October 23, 1962, is a Filipino prelate of the Catholic Church. He currently serves as the second Bishop of Pasig, a position he has held since 2011. Since 2021, he has also served as the Vice President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines. Prior to his appointment in Pasig, he was the third Bishop of San Jose from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, he served as the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of San Pablo from 2023 to 2024.
